3. Service Description

File2Tokens is a web-based application that allows users to upload text-based files—including various programming and document file formats—and convert their contents into tokens for ready copy-paste use. The Service processes the text content of your files and generates tokens along with an estimated token count to help you gauge usage for language models.

4. File Uploads and Content Guidelines

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. By uploading files, you warrant that:

• You have the necessary rights to upload and process the content;
• The content does not contain any sensitive, confidential, or personal information that you do not wish to be processed or stored;
• The content does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights;
• The content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

The Service enforces file upload restrictions: each file must not exceed 3MB and the combined size of all uploads must not exceed 5MB. Only accepted file types (primarily text and programming files) are allowed. Any file failing to meet these criteria will be rejected, and File2Tokens reserves the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

5. Privacy and Data Retention

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your personal information. By using our Service, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described therein.

Uploaded files and associated data are stored temporarily for processing purposes only. You are responsible for managing your data, and you may delete your account data at any time through your account settings.

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, design, text, images, and other materials, are owned by File2Tokens or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
